On November 27, 2021, Faculty of Bridge and Road, Hanoi National University of Civil Engineering (UEB) organized a regular Science and Technology Conference ON "Transportation and Sustainable Development" - The first "Application of advanced technology in traffic 2021 – TESD 2021”. The conference is held online via the Zoom Cloud Meeting system.

Attending the seminar, on the side of the guests there were Mr. Pham Huu Son - General Director of Transport Design Consultancy Corporation (TEDI); Mr. Ngo Lam - Deputy Director of Construction Quality Assessment Department, Ministry of Construction; representatives of the Department of Transport of Nghe An, Yen Bai and Thanh Hoa provinces; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Tuan - Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ho Chi Minh University of Science and Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Tien Thanh - Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Hanoi University of Transport.

The seminar "Application of advanced technology in traffic 2021" is an opportunity for lecturers and students to exchange, acquire all practical scientific knowledge related to the field of Transportation in general and transportation associated with digital technology in particular. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for the University to strengthen contacts with external businesses, thereby improving the quality of teaching and scientific research, stated Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Phu Doanh, Dean of the Faculty, shared that the Faculty of Bridge and Road of NUCE is one of the four faculties established from the dawn of the university's establishment. With a long tradition of training high-quality knowledge human resources for the country, the Faculty, up to present, has always been aiming to carry out its mission under the motto: "Innovation, development, creativity and practicality". Therefore, the first regular scientific conference with the content revolving around the issue: "Transport and Sustainable Development" with the theme: "Application of advanced technology in transportation 2021" was organized. The conference was set up with the purpose of connecting scientists, managers and production units together to exchange and discuss expertise in service of training, scientific research and application of advanced technology in the field of science and technology. - The topic "Research on UAV flight mode to establish linear topographic map - Application for Xuan Quan dike road, Hanoi" by Dr. Luong Ngoc Dung - Institute of Construction Geodetic Technology IGEO presented.

- Theme "Research to improve the efficiency of "parking and leaving" solutions to limit the use of motorbikes in the inner city of Hanoi" by Assoc. Prof.Dr. Dinh Van Hiep - Institute of Traffic Planning and Engineering transport (IPTE) presented.

- The topic "Digital model for prefabricated bridge used in the oriented design of manufacturing and erection" was presented by PhD student Nguyen Duy Cuong - Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Chung Ang University, Korea. display.

- The topic "Evaluating the impact of coating on soil surface temperature and temperature spatial distribution at some roads in Hanoi city by remote sensing image" by MSc. Khuc Thanh Dong - Lecturer of the Faculty of Bridge and Road, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
